We are pleased to announce that Ms Deborah Schembri, Managing Director of STM Malta Trust and Company Management Ltd, has won Malta’s Best Knowledge Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was also nominated for Malta’s Best Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2015. Finalists were assessed by an independent panel of judges from prolific and high profile organisations. The Winners of Malta’s Best Entrepreneur of the Year Award were announced at a black-tie awards gala on Friday 10th July at The Westin Dragonara Resort, Malta.

Deborah is at the forefront of innovation in the pensions industry developing a new industry sector for Malta.

She believes that a successful entrepreneur has five common traits:

5. passion

Speaking just after receiving the award Deborah thanked her family, employees, co-directors, external advisers/stakeholders for the collaboration over the years and her advice is that:

“The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand”.

She described this Award as great both for her and for STM Malta.
